Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control BT-474,SKOV3
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 110kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background This gene encodes a member of the BTB-kelch superfamily. Initially described as a putative transcriptional regulator based on weak homology to members of the basic leucine zipper-like family, the encoded protein subsequently has been shown to localize exclusively to the Golgi network where it may help stabilize the Gogli complex. Deletion of this gene may be associated with DiGeorge syndrome.
Gene ID 8216
Gene name LZTR1
Swiss Q8N653
Synonym LZTR1,BTBD29,LZTR-1,NS10,SWNTS2,LZTR1 Rabbit pAb,TCFL2
Functions Probable transcriptional regulator that may play a crucial role in embryogenesis.
