Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control 无明确组织表达
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 48kDa/51kDa/53kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IF/ICC Conditions for IF/ICC
Recommended dilution 1:50 - 1:100
Suggested sample / positive control 无明确组织表达
Key conditions Optimize fixation, permeabilization, and blocking, and include a secondary-only control
Expected result Expected fluorescence localization: Cell membrane,Endoplasmic reticulum membrane,Multi-pass membrane protein
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background The protein encoded by this gene is the type 2 enzyme of the ecto-nucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase family (E-NTPDase). E-NTPDases are a family of ecto-nucleosidases that hydrolyze 5'-triphosphates. This ecto-ATPase is an integral membrane protein. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
Gene ID 954
Gene name ENTPD2
Swiss Q9Y5L3
Synonym ENTPD2,CD39L1,NTPDase-2,ENTPD2 Rabbit pAb,CD39 antigen-like 1,Ecto-ATP diphosphohydrolase 2
Expression Brain, placenta, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, heart, ovary, testis, colon, small intestine, prostate and pancreas. No expression in adult thymus, spleen, lung, liver and peripheral blood leukocytes.
Functions In the nervous system, could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Hydrolyzes ADP only to a marginal extent. The order of activity with different substrates is ATP > GTP > CTP = ITP > UTP >> ADP = UDP.
