Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control Mouse liver,Mouse lung,Rat liver
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 33kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background This gene encodes a member of the triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like (TREM) family. The encoded protein is a type 1 single Ig domain orphan receptor localized to the alpha-granule membranes of platelets. The encoded protein is involved in platelet aggregation, inflammation, and cellular activation and has been linked to Gray platelet syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants
Gene ID 340205
Gene name TREML1
Swiss Q86YW5
Synonym TREML1,GLTL1825,PRO3438,TLT-1,TLT1,dJ238O23.3,TREML1 Rabbit pAb,Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like protein 1
Expression Detected in platelets, monocytic leukemia and in T-cell leukemia.
Functions Cell surface receptor that may play a role in the innate and adaptive immune response.
