Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control Brain,Heart,Kidney
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 68kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IP Conditions for IP
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control Brain,Heart,Kidney
Key conditions Start at the recommended dilution and titrate for your sample and assay

Target data

Background Acts downstream of various receptor and cytoplasmic protein tyrosine kinases to participate in the signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus (PubMed:11698646, PubMed:14967142). Positively regulates MAPK signal transduction pathway (By similarity). Dephosphorylates GAB1, ARHGAP35 and EGFR (By similarity). Dephosphorylates ROCK2 at 'Tyr-722' resulting in stimulation of its RhoA binding activity (By similarity). Dephosphorylates CDC73 (By similarity). Dephosphorylates SOX9 on tyrosine residues, leading to inactivate SOX9 and promote ossification (PubMed:29644115). Dephosphorylates tyrosine-phosphorylated NEDD9/CAS-L (By similarity). Acts as an effector of PDCD1-mediated inhibition of T-cell response: recruited by phosphorylated PDCD1, mediating dephosphorylation of key T-cell receptor (TCR) proximal signaling molecules, leading to TCR signaling inhibition (PubMed:11698646)
