Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control HeLa,HepG2,Jurkat,Mouse lung,Mouse brain,Rat brain
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal follows target localization and the validation images
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IHC Conditions for IHC
Recommended dilution 1:50 - 1:200
Suggested sample / positive control HeLa,HepG2,Jurkat,Mouse lung,Mouse brain,Rat brain
Key conditions For paraffin sections, optimize retrieval buffer pH, retrieval time, and primary incubation
Expected result Expected localization: cytosol,extracellular exosome,Golgi apparatus,lipid droplet,postsynapse
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
ELISA Conditions for ELISA
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control HeLa,HepG2,Jurkat,Mouse lung,Mouse brain,Rat brain
Key conditions Start at the recommended dilution and titrate for your sample and assay
Expected result Expected signal follows target localization and the validation images
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Gene ID 22930
Gene name RAB3GAP1
Swiss Q15042
Synonym P130,RAB3GAP,RAB3GAP130,WARBM1,RAB3GAP1,RAB3GAP1 Antibody,RAB3 GTPase-activating protein 130 kDa subunit,Rab3-GAP p130,KIAA0066
Expression Ubiquitous.
Functions Probable catalytic subunit of a GTPase activating protein that has specificity for Rab3 subfamily (RAB3A, RAB3B, RAB3C and RAB3D). Rab3 proteins are involved in regulated exocytosis of neurotransmitters and hormones. Specifically converts active Rab3-GTP to the inactive form Rab3-GDP. Required for normal eye and brain development. May participate in neurodevelopmental processes such as proliferation, migration and differentiation before synapse formation, and non-synaptic vesicular release of neurotransmitters.
