Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control Mouse pancreas
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 54kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background This gene is a member of the forkhead/winged helix transcription factor family. Checkpoints are eukaryotic DNA damage-inducible cell cycle arrests at G1 and G2. Checkpoint suppressor 1 suppresses multiple yeast checkpoint mutations including mec1, rad9, rad53 and dun1 by activating a MEC1-independent checkpoint pathway. Alternative splicing is observed at the locus, resulting in distinct isoforms.
Gene ID 1112
Gene name FOXN3
Swiss O00409
Synonym FOXN3,C14orf116,CHES1,PRO1635,FOXN3 Rabbit pAb,Checkpoint suppressor 1
Functions Acts as a transcriptional repressor. May be involved in DNA damage-inducible cell cycle arrests (checkpoints).
