WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control Placenta,Lung,Pancreas
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 42 kDa-48KD
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IF Conditions for IF
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control Placenta,Lung,Pancreas
Key conditions Optimize fixation, permeabilization, and blocking, and include a secondary-only control
Expected result Expected fluorescence localization: Nucleus, Cell membrane, Endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi intermediate compartment
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IP Conditions for IP
Recommended dilution See the validation images or contact technical support
Suggested sample / positive control Placenta,Lung,Pancreas
Key conditions Start at the recommended dilution and titrate for your sample and assay

Target data

Background DRAK2 also known as Death-associated protein kinase-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 2 is part of the serine/threonine kinase family. This protein has a molecular weight of about 48 kDa. DRAK2 expresses mostly in lymphoid tissues including the spleen and thymus. It plays a role in negative regulation during T-cell receptor signaling and is important during lymphocyte activation.
Gene ID 9262
Gene name STK17B
Swiss O94768
Synonym DRAK2 (YD21022),DRAK2 (YD21022) Rabbit mAb,STK17B,DAP kinase-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 2,DRAK2
Research area The role of DRAK2 extends beyond kinase activity. It is involved in immune response modulation and can affect apoptosis in T lymphocytes. DRAK2 is not part of a larger protein complex but rather acts independently to exert its function. It influences cellular mechanisms by altering signaling pathways that impact cell survival and death.
