Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:1000-3000
Suggested sample / positive control 无明确组织表达
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 54kD
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IHC Conditions for IHC
Recommended dilution 1:100-300
Suggested sample / positive control 无明确组织表达
Key conditions For paraffin sections, optimize retrieval buffer pH, retrieval time, and primary incubation
Expected result Expected localization: Membrane
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control
IP Conditions for IP
Recommended dilution 1:50-100
Suggested sample / positive control 无明确组织表达
Key conditions Start at the recommended dilution and titrate for your sample and assay
Expected result Expected signal or band near 54kD
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background Lacks dipeptidase activity and is unable to hydrolyze cystinyl-bis-glycine, leukotriene D4 and the beta-lactam antibiotic imipenem (PubMed:32325220). The absence of activity may be due to the inability of asparagine (instead of aspartate found in DPEP1/2) at position 359 to function as the acid/base catalyst and activate the nucleophilic water/hydroxide (PubMed:32325220). A tyrosine (instead of histidine) at position 269 reduces affinity for the beta zinc and may cause substrate steric hindrance (PubMed:32325220)
