Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:1000
Suggested sample / positive control HepG2,MCF7
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 31-37kd
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Target data

Background This gene encodes a protein that contains an armadillo repeat and transmembrane domain. The encoded protein decreases the transcriptional activity of the tumor suppressor protein p53 through direct interaction with the DNA-binding domain of p53, and may play a role in cell growth and survival. Upregulation of this gene may play a role in hepatocellular carcinoma. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene, and a pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 3.
Gene ID 83787
Gene name ARMC10
Swiss Q8N2F6
Synonym SVH,PNAS112,PNAS-112,PSEC0198,ARMC10 Rabbit pAb,ARMC10,Splicing variant involved in hepatocarcinogenesis protein
Expression Expressed in all tissues tested with higher expression in placenta, liver, kidney, heart and brain.
Functions May play a role in cell survival and cell growth. May suppress the transcriptional activity of p53/TP53.
