Applications and conditions

Where to start

These starting conditions come from the recommended dilution, validation images, and general assay practice. Titrate for your sample and detection system.

WB Conditions for WB
Recommended dilution 1:500 - 1:2000
Suggested sample / positive control K-562,SW480,Mouse brain,Rat brain
Key conditions Use a fresh lysate, incubate at the recommended dilution, and check the predicted and observed molecular weight
Expected result Expected signal or band near 39kDa
Controls Include a positive sample, a negative sample, and a secondary or isotype control

Immunogen

Target data

Background The enzyme encoded by this gene catalyzes removal of mono-ADP-ribose from arginine residues of proteins in the ADP-ribosylation cycle. Unlike the rat and mouse enzymes that require DTT for maximal activity, the human enzyme is DTT-independent. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms have been described.
Gene ID 141
Gene name ADPRH
Swiss P54922
Synonym ADPRH,ARH1,ADPRH Rabbit pAb,ADP-ribose-L-arginine cleaving enzyme,[Protein ADP-ribosylarginine] hydrolase
Functions Catalyzes the reverse reaction of mono-ADP-ribosylation.
